Branch Davidians was founded by Benjamin Roden. It is a religious movement whose members are those that are somewhat questioned the teachings of the Seventh – day Adventist.  Roden was once a member of the SDA but was later on removed from the church due to his unusual views of their beliefs and practices. It was later on passed to David Koresh, the successor of Roden.

His church believes that he is a messiah and all women are destined to be his wives spiritually. They also believe that the end is near for the world and that God himself told him about it. Other illegal practices of them include their mass production of weapon and the practices of the founder including sexual activities he was involved with its members. These practices came to an end when the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms raided their hideout in Waco, Texas in which 77 Branch Davidian members died and 4 ATF agents died in the 51-day siege. The reason for the bombing was not yet clear but some speculations include the rumor that he did it out of revenge for what had happened in the raid of Koresh compound.
